Opened in 1971, this complete resort includes the Magic Kingdom,
a park modeled after Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
Rides and Amusements...
Space Mountain (1975)
Located in the Tommorrowland section of the Magic Kingdom, this
cone-shaped structure rises to a height of 183 feet and encompasses
4,508,500 cubic feet of dark, mysterious space. Passengers board rocket
shuttles that climb high into space before beginning a single-file
descent along an intricate twisting complex of track.
Big Thunder Mountain (1980)
A tubular steel track, runaway mine train that carries up to thirty
adult passengers along 2870 feet of track, past sandstone buttes and
windswept canyons, through a booming Gold Rush town and into Big Thunder
Mine.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (1996)
Not really a rollercoaster, but, a thrill ride not-to-be-missed. This
dark forbodding tower holds many surprises for those that find its
entrance deep within Disney/MGM Studios; this unbelieveable
Hellavator will make you wonder if you really should take the stairs.
